When you fill in the information, you are prompted that the user name or password is incorrect. This is because many mailboxes require third-party SMTP services to be turned on for security, and a separate password will be assigned to you, so the password you want to fill in here is not your mailbox password.

The following is a tutorial for gmail to enable third-party SMTP service.

2. Set the application-specific password:

1) Select Generate & Use the application-specific password.

1) Choose other device, customize device name, here choose DVR model D4108HR-N as an example.
